The "catalytic deodorization device" is a system that facilitates the oxidation reaction by bringing combustible substances, VOCs, and odors in exhaust gas into contact with air through a catalyst, resulting in odorless and harmless emissions. Since it can initiate the oxidation reaction at low temperatures (300°C to 350°C) below the ignition point, it consumes about one-third of the fuel compared to direct combustion deodorization devices for preheating. **[Problems Faced by Company B]** There were ongoing concerns from nearby residents about odors leaking from the factory. The source of the odor was VOC gases generated during the resin molding process.
